Truth and Dairy Mint Chocolate Chip Gelato Bar Review

Mint Chocolate Chip Gelato Bar: 7/10 - This ice cream had a fantastic minty taste which I've always thought was hard to do because usually it ends up tasting like toothpaste. I thought it was a really delicious and refreshing dessert. However, I found that the chocoalte chips were a little too large and hard for my taste. I thought they would've been better if they were flatter and less stiff so you didn't have to 'chew' your ice cream.  
Another note is that I could taste the woody popsical stick with almost every bite which was obviously not a plus. Though of course, the 'wood' was not at all a dominant flavor so I didn't mind it too much. The gelato itself was also perfectly soft and creamy. Overall, I definitely enjoyed this treat!

Banana Bread: 12/10 - This was genuinely the best bar I've ever eaten. I don't know what, but something about it quite literally made me physically smile. The taste was so good I felt like my insides were melting. However, keep in mind that this dramatic review could just be because I was hungry. I am so fascinated at how Lärabar continues to make such appealing products with just 3-6 ingredients! They keep raising the bar every time. (pun intended) Specifically what I liked about this bar was the obvious banana taste and the perfect amount of mix-ins. It was super sugary but definitely not too much sugar and it is very hard to find that 'sweet spot' (pun intended) so props to them! There was a great number of nuts, not too much, not too little. Absolutely everything about this bar was excellent .

Trader Joe's Ricotta & Lemon Zest Ravioli Review

Ricotta & Lemon Zest Ravioli: 8/10 - I don't typically like ricotta but the tang of lemon was really delicious. They also all stayed together really well and none of the filling was coming out and there was no pasta falling apart which was a huge plus.  I'd say the only thing I didn't like was how bland they were but that could easily be fixed by adding seasoning or sauce of some sort. Overall a great flavor.

Chickpea Curry & Spinach Rice Bowl Review

Chickpea Curry Bowl: 6/10 - I was really excited to try this dish because all of the ingredients and the description looked great. But once I cooked it, it was just a mushy, spicy bowl of rice.  All of the ingreadients just blended together so it was pretty much a slimy, brown meal which personally doesn't intrigue me.  The flavors still went fine together and it tasted pretty good but I feel like I could've easily made something that tasted just as good (and looked a little nicer) without buying this. Overall, taste was fine (but not amazing) but presentation was definitely a little rough.
